Bio: Uncommon Road is an eye-opening, blood pumping, breath of fresh air to the rock scene. Hailing from Grand Rapids, MI, they bring a new kind of "high" and "energy" to the stage. Featuring powerhouse vocalist Kala Chantelle, and original songs written to challenge as well as entertain the listeners. They have shared the stage with such national acts as The Almost, Disciple, The Classic Crime, Spoken and Project 86. 

For Uncommon Road; What began in 2006 as a great musical outlet has become the thriving passion for Members Kala Chantelle, Sean Louis, Andrew vandenBerg and Nathan Jean. Having just come off tour, UR has never sounded tighter. The heart, passion, and music are stronger than ever. 

Currently writing for their first full length album: The band is determined to keep the emotional transparency fans have come to love, while looking deeper into the human condition. The new album promises to be hard hitting and to capture the unbridled energy of their live show.

"Shadow World"

Being from Michigan myself, these guys have a special place on my rock-n-roll shelf! Uncommon Road is a band that stands out in my mind for a few reasons..... Great tunes, great melodies, great song writing. I had a chance to check them out a couple months ago and I have to say, I really like the new line up. Kala's vocals definetly fit right in with Uncommon's rythem secton and style. If the new CD sounds as good as what I've heard so far, we're in for a treat..... Check out Uncommon Road on tour if you can!!
